Kyndal Curry '18 Recruiting Profile

My name is Kyndal Curry and I am a Junior at Campbell County High School (CCHS) in Alexandria, KY.  I have played volleyball since I was 6 years old. I have played high school volleyball since I was in 5th grade, giving me 8 years of high school experience when I graduate in 2018. I will also have 7 years of Club Volleyball experience when I graduate. I have played multiple positions including outside hitter, setter and Libero/DS, all successfully. 

My 8th grade season, at George Rogers Clark High School, I was named to the All-District and All-Region team. I also received the MVP award for that season. I transferred to Campbell County High School my freshman year in 2014. I was named the JV MVP and received the Varsity Hustle Award. In the 2015 season, I received All-District, Best Offensive Player Award, Coaches Award for Varsity, and Captains Award and MVP for JV as well. My strengths in volleyball are my knowledge of the game, my ability to play multiple positions, my physical strength and endurance, and as I have stated above, my experience. I also feel that I am a highly durable player due to that fact that I have never missed a game or practice up to, and including, my 2016 season. 

While my passion is volleyball, I also excel academically. I currently have an unweighted GPA of 4.0, and I am member of the Duke TIP program in which I received an award for one of the top ACT scores for my age at a ceremony at Western Kentucky University, I love animals and my goal is to finish college and become a veterinarian. I also enjoy working our local volleyball camp to help young girls develop their skills, so they can someday play the sport they love. 

My main goal is to play volleyball in college. I know that my versatility, experience, dedication, and integrity as a player will help me to be an asset to my team.
