Hi, my name is Makayla Perkins. I am 14 years old 5´8 and 175 lbs. I am a 2027 setter for the Lloyd Highschool volleyball team! My goals are to graduate high school with high grades and to get through middle school with straight A’s. Currently, I am an 8th grader and I always try my best in the classroom as well as on the court. After high school, I plan to continue my volleyball career in college. As an 8th grader, I'm still unsure about what I was to do later on in life. So academic-wise, I plan to study psychology or go into the medical field , preferably a nurse. I started playing volleyball in 4th grade. I tend to pick up on things quick, and with how young I am, I have learned a lot. When I first started playing in elementary, I have always played up. In the 7th grade, I was starting in freshman and sometimes JV games and played my first season of club volleyball. Now, I am still starting varsity games and am now in my second season of club! I have great qualities on the court such as tracking the ball, being loud, having good sportsmanship, helping out teammates, and more.
