Addison Birk '25 Recruiting Profile

I strive to be successful and a good roll model for other athletes and students. In college I would like to see myself grow as a person, athlete, and student. I think I would be a good fit for your team because I like to bring a lot of positive energy no matter where I am. I also like to work hard and push myself and my team when I see we could be doing better. I believe that a team works better together and there should be multiple leaders on a team who can push everyone. I learned a term called "Ubuntu," it means "I am because we are." It describes how you can't be all you can be if you aren't making sure your teammates can be all they can be, it is the humanity of yourself and others. You're helping yourself be better when you're helping your teammates. Academically I work hard for my grades and I also get my work done on time, if there are any extra credit opportunity's or chances to help me get a better grade on an assignment I always take that opportunity.
