Ashton Rabalais '17 Recruiting Profile

Since I was very young, I watched my friend's older sister play volleyball and always thought to myself, "I want to play volleyball and I do not want to sit the bench." My seventh grade year, I made the varsity team at Sacred Heart. My eighth grade year, I played all the way around. After going to LSU camp multiple times, it made me very interested in playing college volleyball. I have been wanting to play since. On the court, for my school and club team, I am the go to leader and calmer. I help my team play as a team and pick up the team when we are down. I am a very hard worker and am determined. I work hard in sports, but also academically. I set the bar high for myself in both aspects and strive to reach my goals. My goals in volleyball being to improve my skills and play in college, and my goals in school being able to keep my highest honors, which is above a 4.0.
