My name is Logan, and I am currently in my 5th year of club. I have played different positions along the front row for the past five years and I am always looking to improve my game. I started off with fun, recreational teams to get a feel for the game and in the 8th grade, I decided to get serious in the sport to play in college. That year I played for my first competitive club team, making the highest travel level, which is something I am very proud of. Freshman year of high school, I made the varsity team, however I did not play as much since there were a lot of seniors. This did not stop me from working harder than others to be one of the starting six on the court. Toward the middle/ end of the season, I was getting more and more playing time because of my dedication to be on the court, which led to me achieving the Coaches Award at my spring banquet. My sophomore season, I was the starting OH1 playing all six rotations. My team lost a lot of players the previous year, so I especially had to step up to be a leader even though I was only a sophomore. My team has never been one of the top teams in our conference, but this year we showed that we were a force to be reckoned with our commitment to play no matter what the circumstance. We showed this when we beat the defending champs in the WCAC in our house. I ended my sophomore season with 144 kills and All Conference Honorable Mention. I love to be a big presence on and off the court and to support my teammates through it all. I also hold my self to high standards and keep family very close to my heart since they are the reason I live. I am a straight A , 4.0 student and I am very interested in Occupational Therapy, Kinesiology, and Sports Medicine to stay close to my love for sports. My dream is to be able to go to college to get a great education, play volleyball, build friendships for a lifetime and come out of college to be successful in life.
