Jasmine Brewer '25 Recruiting Profile

Hi! My name is Jasmine Brewer and I am interested in playing volleyball in college. I have excelled at many sports (competitively) since an early age. At the age of 5, I was invited to join a competitive gymmastics team (artistic) and moved into the "developmental track" - pre-Olympic training. I developed an interest in acrobatic gymnastics and switched to that form of gymnastics when I was 10 years old. I tried out for and was selected for to be on the USA National Team for 2 years - competing internationally. I advanced to an elite level and was named an alternate on the Worlds Team representing USA one year, and was a #1 hopeful to be awarded a spot on the Worlds Team to represent USA the following year when COVID hit. I then grew 4 inches in height and gymnastics was no longer a viable option.

I discovered volleyball during my freshman year and have been in love with the sport ever since. It's a sport where my height and athletic abilities are useful and I enjoy it a lot. I play both outside hitter, middle position and defensive specialist positions. I'd really like to continue to play in college.
