My name is Eva Jacinto, I live in Dalton Massachusetts and attend Wahconah Regional High School. My love for volleyball began when I was in Kindergarten on my first team, living in Hawaii. My dad is in the Military, so we moved around the country a lot throughout my childhood. I played in a few rec leagues over the years when I lived in Virginia and Massachusetts, and started playing club in 8th grade. My freshman and sophomore year I was a starter for my High School JV team, and moved up to Varsity towards the end of my sophomore season. I played as a middle my freshman year, then was moved to outside as a sophomore. My coaches often move me around the court because of my passing ability, quick feet, and soft hands, though I mainly prefer being an outside hitter. Over the years I have become more confident while playing, as well as supporting and getting along well with my teammates. While being dedicated to volleyball, I also am very devoted to my school work, having achieved high honors throughout High School so far. I take all honors classes, and am very passionate about Art and English/writing. I plan to be a student athlete, and plan to major in Visual Arts/Animation. I wish to continue playing Volleyball after High School because it is the only sport I have a passion for and can't live without! I am determined to push myself to be the best athlete I can be, and play volleyball for many years to come!
