Katie Leidhold- S...Personal Statement
I am a junior outside hitter at Fairhaven High School in Fairhaven, MA. I have been playing volleyball since I was 11 and I have 5 years of experience. I am an extremely passionate athlete and my goal is to play volleyball at the highest level possible. I do everything in my power to be the best volleyball player I can be and fully reach my potential. I feel I can make an immediate positive impact to a team with my skills and leadership abilities. I am a very positive person and always strive to make others better. I learn quickly and I'm a very coachable player.
I want to find and go to a school that is the perfect fit for me. A college that has the courses that will help me to get into a great dental school so I can later become an Orthodontist.
This year I was invited to the Volleyball Factory’s Under Armour National Tryout and was selected to play for their National Team. I will be going to train at the Olympic Training Center and compete for them in late December. The coaching staff said I had “Passion you cannot teach” “Advanced Technical Skill” “Fantastic Athleticism” “It Factor’” and that I am a "Rare Player"
