Over my time in highschool, volleyball has grown to become one of my biggest passions and the game is where I am most happy, comfortable and open. The ongoing feeling of love that I have for this sport is what makes me want to continue my academics along with my athletics in a college setting. I started playing volleyball my freshmen year of highschool and absolutely loved it, but took a break my sophomore year to keep up with another sport. However I started club volleyball the following winter and went right back into my high school team, earning a varsity spot my junior year as well as keeping up with my club team.
I currently attend Rockland High School, where I will be a senior in the fall of 2023. Throughout all of high school I’ve maintained great grades and honor roll, I always tell people I’m moving on to higher education for my learning first, then my volleyball career as school and development are so important to me. Balancing varsity sports such as volleyball and lacrosse have helped me develop so many of the skills and attributes that will prepare me for life ahead as well as collegiate athletics. The values of teamwork, kindness, perseverance and dedication have been engraved in my morals and actions on the court, in the field and most importantly in the classroom. Overall, I’m not ready to let go of volleyball once I graduate high school, I really hope to continue playing the sport that I love the most.
