Madison Keohane '24 Recruiting Profile

While only playing for four years, I have found that my growth in playing volleyball is exponential and my love for the sport only grows stronger with every passing day. I'm hoping to continue this growth in my athletic career throughout my college experience.  My early coaches quickly characterized me as a setter because of my hands but I felt it was still necessary to work on serve receive even if I shouldn't use those skills in a game.  Now, my high school coach recognizes me as one of the strongest passers on the team even as a setter.  As a captain on and off the court, it's important to me to keep my relationships with my teammates strong, as trusting teammates is one of the most important aspects of the sport.  My experience in other sports such as soccer and basketball has helped immensely with my attitude towards the game as well my instincts.
