Sawyer King '19 Recruiting Profile

I am a 5’9” MB/OH from Walpole Massachusetts. I attend Walpole High School and I will graduate as a member of the class of 2019. I have 6 years experience of playing volleyball; 2 years as a starter on the varsity team. During my high school career, so far, we have accomplished being south sectional finalists for Massachusetts and back to back Herget division champions. What I am looking for in a college is not only a community but a close knit family.  I’m looking for great professors that will interact and challenge students.  I love the New England area because I was born and raised here so I think furthering my education in the North would be ideal. I am still open to looking outside of New England for the right opportunity.  I want a program that has a highly-competitive league. I wish to play at a DII or DIII school. My enthusiasm is evident when I play and how I practice is unlike anyone else. This game is my passion and if I have the opportunity to pursue it I will jump on that offer and give my all.
