I love volleyball! If there's one thing I am truly passionate about, it is volleyball. With everything going on in my life and in this crazy world of social media, boys, and negative news it grounds me and helps me focus. Additionally, I like the physical demands, the competitiveness, camaraderie, and the lifelong friendships. All of my free time and energy goes into the growth of my volleyball career. That being said, I don't want to stop playing as I move on beyond highschool.
In college I want to pursue law, dental hygiene or health science. I like the idea of a career that demands communicating and helping others. Both my parents have successful careers. I want to follow in their footsteps. I think pursuing volleyball as part of my college career will help me persevere mentally and physically through my studies
What makes me stand out? Throughout my years of playing volleyball I feel like I have had to step up my game. I've had to play at a higher level of volleyball with much older and more experienced girls that have overall taught me maturity and a whole new way of competing. Not only am I hardworking and ready to learn but I always give 110% in my playing. One of my proudest moments was when I was moved from JV to Varsity as a freshman. I played varsity my sophomore and junior year and currently I am playing on an 18u team as a 16 year old. Moving forward I want to prove myself academically and on the volleyball court.
