Mia Eickholdt '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Mia Eickholdt and I play for Detroit Country Day School's varsity volleyball team, and Michigan Elite Volleyball Academy's 16 Mizuno. I play outside and right side but have been thrown around to almost every spot on the court. I pride myself on my communication skills and other intangibles that every player needs. I love to cheer my teammates on and vocalize on the court. I'm a hard hitter and can put the ball down when I find a good opportunity to do so. Due to a few serious injuries on my club team, I have begun to gain more experience in the back row and as an all-the-way-around player. I ended my freshman year at Detroit Country Day with a 4.0 and challenged myself this year with honors courses. I want to get the most out of my college experience by playing that next level of volleyball and building another volleyball family.
