Ava Wells '25 Recruiting Profile

I was introduced to volleyball in the sixth grade, and I have always had a love for sports. Any sport I could do, I would do it. However, there was just something about volleyball that stuck out to me. My freshman year was the year that I had a dream to play volleyball in college, and it still is my dream to this day. But playing the sport is not just it, I am a student-athlete, and student comes first. My mom has always said that if I don't have good grades I can't do anything that I wanted to do. She has always pushed me to be the best at both school and volleyball. As well as if I wanted to keep playing the sport, I would have to keep up with my work and not get behind and do my work beforehand at whatever time I had to do it. The sooner I had my work done, the more time I have to do whatever I wanted. My goal is to be the best version of myself that I can be. Before every tournament, I set a goal, and the next tournament if I meet my goal, I try to beat it.
