Playing college volleyball is the next step in my volleyball career. Its a once in a lifetime opportunity. I have the ability and skill to be a versatile player. I am a lib/DS for school and club. I am a varsity captain this year and it has provided me with an invaluable experience in my life. Volleyball has remained my passion and has helped me develop as a person and an athlete!
A little about my background before my volleyball career began, I was a gymnast for 10 years. By the age of 13 I was a level 7 competitive gymnast, unfortunately an injury ended my gymnastics career. Gymnastics helped me to be the person I am today. Recovering from my injury was a tough and long road but it taught me a lot about perseverance and the importance of keeping a positive mindset. I also grew up playing soccer and softball. I was a pitcher on my middle school softball team.
I was born to be an athlete and will keep working every day to show the world who I was raised to be! I am a leader and I will have a positive attitude throughout my career. Yes, I make mistakes but I learn from them and that is what makes me better. I am very coachable and will take any advice even if it's the littlest thing. If it'll make me better as a person and player I am all for it.
