Personal Statement

Hi, my name is Lexie Stotenbur. I am a sophomore at Forest Hills Northern High School. I first started playing volleyball in 6th grade and fell in love with the sport. I am constantly pushing myself to be better as a player and as a teammate. I push my teammates as well so that as a team we can be the best possible. I am very competitive, hardworking, and energetic on and off the court. I always look for opportunities to lead my team and I love finding ways to celebrate my teammates' successes. I played basketball and soccer up until high school, then decided to focus 100% on volleyball. My love for volleyball keeps growing every day and I always find more reasons to love the sport of volleyball.

I have a 3.92 GPA and I would like to study Pre-Med, Biology, or Chemistry. Ultimately, I would like to be a Dermatologist or Psychiatrist.  My goal is to play volleyball at a competitive level in college where I can continue to excel at the game of volleyball.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
