I have dreamed of playing in college since I began in 7th grade. It has turned into a goal of mine as I became older. Volleyball is my passion. I play year round to become a better player and also because I love it. I believe that my greatest asset as a player is my intelligence of the game. While I play I am thinking of where the open spots are on the other side of the net. I don't always try to go for the hard hit but more so the intelligent placement of the ball. I have been a starter all of my life and have started on the varsity team for the past three years. This year will also be the second year that I have and will lead my team as a captain. I would consider myself a very positive and strong leader on and off of the court. I am interested in majoring in pre-medicine to become a pediatrician. My academics are just as important as volleyball.
