I am a 5'8' 154 lbs opposite, but I have played all of the front row hitting positions before. I have been playing volleyball for a total of 3 years/6 seasons. I played at Austin High School my whole 3 years. I received varsity time for 2 of the years, I have played. Starting a few games my junior year and having a solid starting spot my senior year. I am strong at adapting to where ever I am needed on the court, even if it's a position I haven't fully mastered before.
When it comes to club teams, I bounced around a little to find a team that suited my values the best. I played on the 17s team my first year playing volleyball, being a sophomore at the time. This club team is located in my hometown of Austin Minnesota (Victory Volleyball), I was playing as an opposite. I didn't feel like I fit very well on the team, most likely because I was playing with girls that were older than me. Girls that I saw as amazing athletes, a lot of my teammates played varsity for my high school team. Playing with them helped me learn so much though. It was one of my favorite experiences. In my second year of club volleyball, I decided I wanted something a little more competitive. Therefore, joining Southern Minnesota Volleyball located in Rochester, MN. This was a big jump in competitiveness. I ended up playing for the 16-3s team, I played as a middle. This team was my favorite team I've ever played on. Financially, I couldn't afford it for this current year. Finally, I am currently playing on the 17s team for Victory Volleyball.
I currently have a 3.24 unweighted GPA. I was a part of Honors before I decided to go full-time PSEO this current year. I care a lot about my academics, so finding a suitable school that will help me academically is very important to me. I am currently taking classes that are generally required for my desired major, Business Management. I hope to receive my bachelor's at the school I plan to enroll in this fall.
Lastly, I hope to find a school that will help me out financially. My parents work very hard to help me afford my wants. I also work a part-time job to help with my future. I want to be able to help them in any shape or form to pay for my college. If there is any possible financial help, I could receive that would be greatly appreciated.
