Personal Statement
Volleyball has been a priority and a significant part of my life for the last seven years. My experiences with tournaments, camps, club ball, and school volleyball have provided me an avenue to connect with great athletes, coaches and friends. It has provided me the opportunity to develop strength, dedication, leadership skills and a strong work ethic.
An obstacle that I have worked to overcome at the direction of coaches is to become a more verbal leader to utilize my strong leadership skills most effectively on the court. I have grown greatly in this area and always strive to improve.
I bring a sense of maturity to my team with my calm, confident mannerisms on the court. My strengths are my strong desire to succeed, my speed, agility and ability to read the court. My experiences of playing alternative positions over the years have allowed me to become a strong well-rounded player with knowledge of all the positions.
