I am Megan Palmer and I currently am enrolled at Prior Lake High School, but also enrolled at Normandale Community College in Bloomington. I made the decision to only attend college college courses for my junior and senior year. I believe this option was better than doing any honors or AP courses in high school, because I think this would be more challenging having actual college professors.
My volleyball career is what I take most pride in. I love the game that I have committed myself to playing; every single aspect of it. I motivate myself and my teammates everyday in practice to push ourselves to our limits so we can achieve greatness. Although this sport can be very time consuming, I could not see a better thing to be consumed in. I wouldn't miss practice for nearly anything. I would never let myself or my teammates down like that, and I see my teammates as priority.
I've been playing this sport my whole life and with that commitment I am improving daily and striving to become the best volleyball player I can be. I believe that my my best quality in the game is my ability to never give up on a ball. I strongly believe in sacrificing your body for the good of the team. I want to carry that quality into college and continue playing the sport I love and am dedicated to.
