Personal Statement

My name is Torey Kragness, I am 5 feet 9 inches, I weigh 170. I have played Volleyball and Basketball since I was in 5th grade. I am a senior this year, and plan on playing just volleyball this year. I am a varisty starter for volleyball and was a varsity starter for basketball. I have been awarded most hustle awards Freshman and Sophmore year in basketball ball also chairman of the boards sophmore year in basketball. Volleyball I have recieved most aces award both Freshamn and Sophmore year, also Sophmore and Junior year I recieved most blocks, most kills, and Junior year I also received most digs and the MVP award. Also during sophmore and Junior year I received second team all-conference, and Senior year I recieved first team all-conference. This fall I was selected to represent my home state, North Dakota, in the Down Under Sports in Australia this July. I can offer a team hard work, I'm always one of the first ones there and one of the last to leave the gym. I have always wanted to play sports at the college level and possibly higher than that level some day. I am open to any type of school, I would be happy anywhere if I was playing volleyball. I am the oldest of 4 children and have one parent running the home, so financial aid would be good to have availible. I desire to major in Sports Management, Physical Therapy, Athletic Training, or Accounting. My goals are to come to a school play as a Freshman, make an impact, and keep playing a sport after the college level.
