Well for starters, volleyball has been something that I turn to for everything. A stress reliever, just for a fun time, and because I love it; it is my passion. I am a player that wants to hear what the coaches have to say to me to help to to improve because there are always things that I can get better at. I am also very hard on myself because I have very high expectations of myself. I played basketball my seventh through my sophomore year to stay in shape and because I liked it. I decided not to play my junior year because I want to prepare myself mentally and physically for club volleyball. The team I play on is Mountain 1 and this would be my second year playing on this team. I am very committed to my academics because I cannot get anywhere without them. I want to attend college to become a Neonatal Nurse, because of my love for children and especially my siblings and I would love to be in a field where I can make a difference in a families life by helping their young or unhealthy baby become well and happy to be able to go home to their families. The reasons I want to play volleyball in college is because I feel like I can exceed far past my expectations and because I love it. I also have the dream to play on the National Level someday and also would like to have a future in coaching and teaching a young team to mature in skill and love for the game.
