Personal Statement
I am a hardworking and determined player on and off the court. After every practice, I stay and hit 50 balls in all hitting positions to better myself for the future. In practice and games when I am having an off night, I go in the next day and make sure I stay afterwards to work on it until I am content with the outcome. I am humbled by my accomplishments and eager to better my imperfections as a player. By my teammates, I am considered a "mom" because I take care of everyone on the team in school, practice, and outside of school; In every game, I have a positive attitude, even when things aren't working our way. I always go crazy on the court and bench when my teammates have a good hit, dig, set and congratulate them when the rally is over. I am in both volleyball and basketball during the school year, and when spring comes, it's when the off season kicks in. I am in the weight room 4-5 times per week, following a strict workout to better my vertical, quickness, and endurance. I have a 94% serving rate and a 89% serve receive. On my team, I have most kills and most digs.
In school, for my sophomore and junior year, I have achieved a 4.0 year round. This has been a goal of mine since I was in junior high. One of my goals for college is to play college ball and to further my education on something I am passionate about: I want to become an Pediatric Occupational Therapist to help all ages with their daily lives. Dedicating my life to helping others has been a goal of mine since I was little.
Thank you for taking time in my profile, I greatly appreciate it!
