Brylee Nelsen '25 Recruiting Profile

My name is Brylee Nelsen.   I love playing the game of volleyball.  My grandma got me interested in the sport when I was little.  I would go to her games and she would even let me sit on the bench with her.  I couldn't wait to start playing myself.  I love the competitiveness of the game and atmosphere on the court. I love the intensity and the quickness of the game! I've always grown up in a competitive household and hate to lose. I love outworking my opponents and winning big games! I've always been known as a leader and love to embrace that role.  I love playing team sports and getting to know my teammates.

Along with volleyball I love to socialize, shop, and have dreams of becoming a radiologist.   When I was injured last year, I got to experience talking to a radiologist and he even showed me what he does and some of the equipment he uses daily.  I immediately knew that would be a job I would love.
