From the time I started playing elementary volleyball, I loved the game. As I got older that love turned to passion for the game. Nothing compares to the felling after getting a big block or kill. I can't imagine the day I have to stop playing volleyball and that is the reason I want to advance to the collegiate level.
On the court, I am a leader. I have a strong jump serve and good ball control all around. There is never a time in practice or a game that I give less than everything I've got because I am willing to do whatever it takes for me to reach my full potential. I am coachable, dedicated, and hard-working.
Off the court, is the same story. I am a member of FBLA, National Honors Society, speech, and drama. I stay involved in sports and extracurricular activities while still being an honor student. In a small school like mine, I strive to be a good role model to all of the underclassmen because I know that I can make an impact.
I realize that collegiate volleyball is a one in a lifetime opportunity that could leave a lasting impact on my life. College is an important part of my future and I don't want to experience it without volleyball.
