Ella Byrne '23 Recruiting Profile

In college, I am hoping to study either psychology or marine biology and in my future be a child psychiatrist or a marine biologist. I would be a good candidate for your volleyball team because of my attitude to always work harder. I feel that whenever someone tells me I can't it just pushes me to achieve my goals more. I am a very determined person and if I put my mind to something I will do it. When my teammates feel down I also provide lots of encouragement because when someone on my team is upset, the whole team is upset.  I have tried many sports as a child and now my freshman year of high school I believe I have finally found my calling. When I play volleyball I just feel happy and it's a sport that I actually enjoy doing. Aside from my athletic ability I have also managed to keep my grades at A's and B's and always shooting for an A.
