Personal Statement
Hello Coaches my name is Drew Richard I have been playing club soccer since I was 9 years old. I started playing for Seacoast United as a member of a Select team. 2 years later after hard work and determination I made the Pre-Academy team. I played with Seacoast United consistently since, training 3-4 days a week for 10 months out of the year. At the end of my Freshman year I made the decision to decline Seacoast United Development Academy to play for Exeter High School. Although I have been trained as an outside back, I played striker for my high school team and led the team in goals and assists. I am a versatile player with solid technical fundamental skills and I am comfortable in any position on the field.
Academically I had a challenging start; but through hard work and assistance out of class, I am now on track to make the honor role. In addition to balancing academics and soccer, I also work for a local restaurant and manage my own business buying and selling street wear.
I enjoy being a part of a team and I like to show my leadership by being vocal on the field and helping my teammates improve. I am looking forward to making an impact academically and athletically at your college.
Thank you for taking the time to view my profile, I am looking forward to visiting your campus and meeting you
Thanks,
Drew Richard
