Growing up, I have always been athletic. Throughout my middle school years, I have played many sports such as basketball, track and volleyball. Winning the Jersey City District Championships in volleyball with my middle school team for two years straight definitely impacted my life as an athlete. It also sparked my love for volleyball. As I ventured on to high school athletics, it became more competitive. Although this challenged me as a student-athlete, this did not interfere with my desire to play volleyball, especially at a college level.
During my freshman year, I was the captain for the junior varsity team. My sophomore and junior year of high school I started as an outside hitter for the varsity team. I attend Infinity Institute but play for Henry Snyder High School. Now I am in my senior year, starting as an outside hitter and the captain of the varsity team. Throughout the seasons I have learned many important values such as leadership, teamwork, time management, hard work, and commitment. I would love to be part of a team that positively influences my athletics and academics. I honestly consider myself to have the skills, talent and dedication to be part of your team.
