Arianna Puleo '23 Recruiting Profile

       My name is Arianna Puleo and I am a Senior in high school. I love volleyball, and whenever I am on the court, I am excited and ready to play. I am always dedicated, willing to lead and learn, and will do my best at any drill you throw at me. I began playing volleyball in 2016 and have loved the sport ever since. 

       I have been team captain for all 4 years of my club team as well as my high school's freshman team. I am also a co-captain for the 2022 Varsity season. I made varsity my sophomore year, and have been the starting setter in a 6-2 rotation ever since. The last 2 seasons I lead my team in aces and assists, and we won the conference! The previous year (Spring 2021), we also won the state sectional title, which due to COVID-19 was the furthest the post-season went. My current stats are as follows:

       I am determined to play in college! I would love a school that is within a day's driving distance of my home in NJ, (East Coast/Great Lakes/Southeast), is medium/large in size, and is either DI, DII, or DIII. However, I would consider other options if the school had the potential to be the right fit for me.

       While I aspire to play volleyball in college, academics are also important to me. My core classes are almost exclusively honors and AP, and I was inducted into four Honors societies, and got a 1420 on my SAT. I haven’t completely narrowed down my major just yet, but biology and/or chemistry-related majors definitely look interesting to me. Some other interests of mine include managing the boys volleyball team at my school, softball, and singing in my high school’s Honors Choir.

       I’m extremely excited to continue my volleyball journey, and I hope to be considered for your team!
