Up until age 11 my dream was to be an olympic gymnast, but as I grew taller I realized that was probably not my path. With my love for being part of an athletic team and competing, I knew I had to find something that would stick and had more room for me to grow as an athlete. Summer going into freshman year I decided to give a local volleyball camp a try, and instantly fell in love. Unlike other sports I've played, volleyball has taught me a multitude of things like the importance of communication and energy. Not only do I use these on the court, but in my everyday life as well. Throughout my schooling I have learned that I excel in some classes and struggle in others, but instead of having that discourage me, I have learned too use it as motivation to constantly better myself. The complexity of the human mind and body has always intrigued me and inspired me to have a possible career in either phycology or physical therapy which my school has supported through a wide variety of electives pertaining to those interests. I am excited to find my perfect college fit to continue learning and growing to my full potential.
