Sofia Brito '21 Recruiting Profile

    I’m a 5’9” six rotation pin hitter and DS from Albuquerque, New Mexico. I attend a highly selective college preparatory school and am successful academically and on the court. I have a high court IQ and a solid vertical jump. I am competitive and love challenges.  I am known as a consistent, dependable, and coachable player.

     I’ve earned numerous awards.  I am an all-around starter on my high school and club team.  I was selected for an All-District and All-Metro teams as a freshman, sophomore, and junior. I was named First Team All-State as a sophomore.  I am a vocal leader on the court and helped lead my high school team to win three back-to-back District Championships. During my junior year, my teammates nominated me as their captain.  I led our team of nine players to our first State Championship game in 21 years. I have dreamed of playing college volleyball since I began playing ten years ago and I’d love to be a part of any program where I can make an impact on the team.
