Payten Chavez '26 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Payten Chavez.  I am a part of the graduating class of 2026.  I currently attend the Master's Program in Santa Fe, NM, and I play  on the Varsity Volleyball team at Santa Fe High School.  I take my academics and being a student- athlete very seriously.  I am striving to graduate with an Associates Degree as well as my High School Diploma in 2026.  I also play for the 16N Black team at NM Elite Volleyball Club in Albuquerque, NM.  My love for volleyball began 7 years ago, and since, I have played and traveled with some of the best coaches and teammates throughout New Mexico.  I love club ball because of the comradery we build not only within our team but within the entire club.  It truly is a second family!  Being able to compete and train at a high level, makes the sacrifices you must make as a student athletes worth every minute.  During the summer I play competitive Sand Volleyball as well as take college classes towards my degree.
