Personal Statement
My goal is to be a part of building and creating things that last. As an athlete I have learned so many skills that will help me achieve success. I have learned the importance and satisfaction of being part of a team working towards the same goal. I have also learned to appreciate that working as an individual does not set me aside from my team, but allows me to give that much more to the whole. Changing schools in 2014/2015 showed me that I not only have the strength to accept changes, but also the endurance and drive to make the most of it and continue to excel. I strive to challenge myself, and the change in school was not the only challenge. In my Freshman year I took all 9th grade level classes excluding Geometry while maintaining a 95% or better average. In my Sophomore year I took all 11th grade honors and A/P classes while still maintaining a 95% or better average. I am a hard worker whether I am on the court or off the court and I will bring value to any college or coach looking for a serious, dedicated athlete and student.
