I started playing volleyball in 4th grade and fell in love with the sport. I used to play competitive golf on the U.S. Kids Golf Tour achieving many awards and even made it to Tri-State Regionals for the PGA Drive, Chip & Putt contest. I also played basketball for CYO and John Jay Middle School.
In 8th grade, I decided to focus solely on volleyball and play for a National Club team. It prepared me for making the High School JV team as a 8th grader and High School Varsity team as a 9th grader. I can't get enough volleyball. I play at every opportunity that I can.
I started playing beach volleyball 2 years ago and I have earned bids each year to USA Juniors Beach Nationals. In 2019, I played at Nationals in Manhattan Beach and in 2018 I played at Nationals in Siesta Key. I enjoy the time with my friends at the beach playing volleyball and it keeps me in shape between my Club and High School season.
I hope I get the opportunity to play at the collegiate level. Thank you for reading my personal statement.
