Laura Miller '25 Recruiting Profile

My name is Laura Miller whom I am proudly named after my Aunt Laura who passed away fighting breast cancer. I am 16 years old Sophomore at Currituck County High School. I have been playing volleyball ever since I was 9 years old. I started in Recreation and school volleyball until I was about 13. My enthusiasm for volleyball led me to play competitive volleyball in a club. I am an "A" honors student who strives to always give my best effort whether it is in my studies or other activities. My hobbies other than volleyball are; hanging with family/friends, going to sports events, going to church, the beach, mountains, and volunteering. Some of my biggest goals in life are; to play college volleyball and attain my degree in the medical field as a Nurse. If someone was to describe me, I believe they would say that I was funny, loving, helpful to others, and is a positive leader. Throughout the years of school and growing up I have always been told that I am an honorable student from my peers, and recently I had received this award from my high school voted on by the teacher faculty of the school.
