My name is Ella Scott from Brevard, NC. I am 5'10, 6 rotation OH/DS. I have been playing travel volleyball for 6 years at MEVC and Xcel Volleyball Performance and have played Varsity since my freshman year. What sets me apart from other players is my work ethic and leadership on the court. Volleyball did not come completely naturally to me. I earned my starting position through hard work, dedication, and years of playing. I feel I am able to lead on the court because my focus is always on our team as a whole and not me as an individual player. In my opinion, this is what separates good players from great players.
My work ethic does not stop on the court. I maintain Honor Roll, am active in several clubs, and support the other sports in my school.
I believe focus and a great work ethic is what makes an excellent student-athlete. I have both of those both on the court and in the classroom.
