Underdogs. That is how I view my high school experience so far. Our team hasn't always been the biggest or strongest in the conference, but we've figured out how to be competitive and that has shown me how much attitude and effort contribute to winning games. I've played varsity since freshman year, and was award All-Conference sophomore year. My club volleyball experience has been some of my best memories the last few years - we have been competitive, with great coaching, and I've learned so much playing for AIM volleyball club. I am competitive and driven - long rallies, crazy hustle and team effort are some of my favorite aspects of the game. Both of my parents played sports in college. My mom has been my biggest role model - she had a successful high school and college career and has told me fun stories about her experiences. She was the one to introduce me to the game by teaching me skills in the front yard which I will always remember as the moment that sparked my love for volleyball.
I am searching for a volleyball program where I can jump in and contribute to the team in a positive way. I work hard, and love to be a part of a group of teammates that root for each other. Academically, I have an eye for art and design and am hoping to find a school that will help me grow creatively and find a path that can turn my passion into a career. I am striving to keep improving as a student and as an athlete and am hopeful that I am a good fit for your school and team!
