My goal is to attend college and play Volleyball for a team that has a great culture while earning a college degree. Throughout the years, I have learned that it's not about who is the best player, it's about who is the best working TEAM. Also, it's not just about the game, it's about those friendships earned and the values you learn along the way. That's what makes volleyball valuable. One quote that has stuck out to me through the years is, "The way you practice, is the way you play." You can't expect yourself to play at your best, if you don't practice your best.
I am looking for a college that is a good fit for me both athletically and academically. I feel as if I would be a good fit for college volleyball because even though my goal is to have the opportunity to play volleyball at the college level, I also compete in basketball for my high school team. Being a 2-sport athlete has made me stronger, in better shape, and has helped improve my work ethic. Character is a huge part of the game. An athlete with good character has good work ethic, leadership skills, and is willing to move past previous mistakes in tough game situations and I feel I have those attributes. I am a hard-worker, enthusiastic and I simply love the game of Volleyball.
