Elizabeth Motter '20 Recruiting Profile

   As a daughter of a 22 year military veteran I understand the meaning of dedication and commitment.  This self-motivation that has been part of my childhood and major influence on how I approach all things that I’m determined to excel at.

Volleyball has been my primary focus for the past five years and having started at the age of 10, I’ve dedicated my energy to perfecting all aspects of the sport. At the age of ten I attended my first volleyball camp, it was love at first touch and have never looked back. I have been playing on an American Club for the past 4 years. I’m active in other sports that include basketball, softball and track.  Starting in high school I’ve left softball to pursue track as these seasons run together.  

                Now that we are retired from the military I enjoy the satisfaction and personal reward that comes from hard work.  We now own a small beef operation on a farm in central Ohio which has taught me to work through all the challenges that come with outdoor living.  I am involved In 4H and FFA and show animals at the local county fairs.

My college goals are simple; attend a college that can give me the best education I need to have a successful teaching career and to play volleyball at a competitive level.   I prefer to attend school in the Midwest so I can maintain my close family relationship and continue to assist around the farm when time allows. I am dedicated to both these goals and willing to work to achieve both.
