Brittany Newcomer '17 Recruiting Profile

I focus on volleyball year round. I have been playing since I was in 7th grade. After my first season in 7th grade, I started playing Club. I played at MCVBC for 2 years, then at Quicksilver for one year, and I am currently at Southwest for my second year.

I have improved majorly with each volleyball season that passes. Freshmen year I played on Brunswick's freshmen team, and sophomore and junior year I played on Brunswick's junior varsity team. Senior year I will be playing on Brunswick's varsity team.

I not only work hard on the court while playing, but also at school. I manage to do club volleyball, high school volleyball, work my job at Honey Hut, and keep my grades at at least a B average all at the same time. Nothing worth having comes easy!

I hope to be able to further my playing into the college level because I love to play and compete. I have worked hard to get to where I am, and I want to keep working harder. I work hard at every season I play to improve myself and better my team. There is no "I" in team, in order for a team to be successful everyone has to give their all and work their hardest.
