My name is Isabella Notarberardino, and I am a pin hitter from the class of 2025. I have played volleyball since 3rd Grade and club volleyball since 5th Grade. Each year I play volleyball, I fall in love with it even more. Whenever I step into the gym or weight room, I not only push myself to be the best player I can become, but also lift up everyone else around me. I pride myself on being able to be a six-rotation player. Upon completion of my sophomore year on the junior varsity team, I was awarded the Inspiration Award given to the player who leads by example and never gives up.
The big dream I have for myself is to earn a degree while playing collegiate volleyball. I would like to attend a school that has an Exercise Science/Physical Therapy program as well as a competitive volleyball program.
My skills are very versatile with the ability to play wherever my team needs me most. I am extremely dedicated to both volleyball and school. Over the summer, I would get up at six in the morning to train in the weight room as well as go to various volleyball camps and open gyms after. I am a straight A student taking rigorous classes including Honors Algebra and Geometry, Honors Chemistry, Honors English, AP Biology and AP US Government and am a member of Women's Ministry, Student Senate and an EC Ambassador.
I believe in hard work paying off, learning from mistakes, and teaching by example. I am passionate about volleyball, and I almost lose my voice after every game. I don’t dwell on my mistakes because I know there is a little girl or boy looking to be the next Isabella Notarberardino. I never make any excuses because I know from experience that nothing is guaranteed in life.
My love for volleyball is undeniable. I eat, breathe, and sleep volleyball, and I know volleyball takes determination, hard work, and dedication to be the best player to compete at the collegiate level. I am willing to do everything that is required and give 110% of my effort to achieve this goal, and I believe I would be a great asset to your program.
