Personal Statement
Hi, my name is Courtney! I am a junior at Patrick Henry High School. My freshman year I participated in volleyball, basketball and track at the varsity level. Awards received were: Most Kills in volleyball at 104, Highest FG% and Free Throw % in basketball and Best Newcomer in Track. My sophomore year I once again participated in the varsity level of volleyball and basketball. The awards I recieved included: Most Kills in volleyball at 213 and Most Rebounds in basketball at 139. I have participated in club volleyball the past three years; with the most recent being with a 17 age level team. I am a very dedicated and hard working athlete and student. This is evident in my sports accomplishments and my grades. I am a straight A student with a 4.0 GPA. My personality is very outgoing and fun; I love to laugh! My leadership skills are proven both on the court and in school. School activities include Student Council, Spanish Club, Renaissance Club and Fellowship of Christian Athletes. My after school activities include: my church Luther League (youth group), babysitting and volunteering at local community dinners. I also love spending time with my family and friends.
I would love to go on and play at the college level. I am very dedicated to my sports and think that my leadership skills and my drive to push myself to always be better make me a good candidate for collegiate sports.
