Aubrey Fetty '27 Recruiting Profile

My name is Aubrey Fetty, class of 2027. I am a DS/Libero starter for my high school varsity team at River High School. I play spring and summer volleyball with the Ohio Valley Volleyball company. I am a member of the OVAC Varsity Board.

I began to play volleyball when I was in the fifth grade. During my seventh and eighth grade season I played as an OH/DS. I began to play club in the seventh grade, while going into my third year with Ohio Valley Volleyball Company (OVVC) I have played as an Outside Hitter, Defensive Specialist, and Libero. I also competed on the 14U National team that went to Orlando, Florida. I am currently playing Varsity Volleyball Team as a freshman, while playing on the team I have excelled in my position as a Libero, while being able to compete against skilled upperclassmen as a freshman. Playing against this level of competition has ultimately made me a better player.

 Volleyball has helped me learn more about myself and the person I am today. It has made me understand myself better and made me realize that I am a person who loves to see others achieve their goals, and celebrating their accomplishments with them. I am a person who loves to win and succeed, while learning that I love to succeed I have also learned it is better to succeed in silence. My academic choice is to study education, I am open to any schools with a good educational program. I have learned that to be a successful player you have to be committed, driven, and coachable, I can proudly say I check off all of those boxes. I am looking forward to make an impact on a team and be a leader on and off the court.
