Hi, I'm Lauren Quiroga. I'm a student-athlete in the class of 2026 and just finished my Club season playing for Athena 15-1 (National) based in Beaverton, Oregon.
I am an incoming sophomore at Mountainside high school, also located in Beaverton Oregon, where we compete in the 6A classification which are the largest schools in Oregon. I currently hold a 3.7 unweighted GPA.
On both the club and school levels I have been playing the Middle Hitter position, due to my blocking abilities and relative height compared to my peers. However, I believe I possess the speed and quickness that would project me to play other positions if needed.
I am starting to explore recruiting opportunities that will help me continue my volleyball career in college, specifically at universities that match my competition and level. I am also specifically interested in schools with reputable English Programs.
I love to spend time outdoors, going to the beach, spending time with my family & friends, and hiking.
I began playing volleyball as a 6th grader but lost a greater part of two seasons due to the Covid-19 pandemic, where I used the time off to develop my skills.
Volleyball has been one of my biggest passions since first starting, which is why I would like to continue playing in college. I am ambitious and a hard worker on and off the court. One of my favorite things about volleyball is the lessons I gain from it, working within a team towards a common goal, the satisfaction of improving through hard work and dedication and overall just competing, measuring myself against my peers.
I challenge myself to become the best player I can and show coaches why I should be playing over another player.
