Hannah Maupin '16 Recruiting Profile

Although my major is still undecided, I have several different career interests in mind. A business degree is towards the top of my list, but I have considered becoming a PA, a Dentist, or getting involved in Sports Medicine. I have also considered becoming a stock investment specialist. I strive for success, whether it is in the classroom, on the court, or in life. Coming from a family that struggles financially, I know the value of hard work and the worth of earning something rather than having it freely given to you. After tearing my ACL as a sophomore, I have become much stronger mentally and physically. I have been raised with strong values and a good work ethic. My years of experience as a varsity player, and my three years on the superintendents list set me apart from other recruits. I have received honors academically and athletically throughout my high school career. I have received 11 outstanding student awards, and I have maintained a 4.0 GPA for over eight years. Athletically, I received 2014 first team state tournament, 2014 second team all-state, and I have been High Desert League first team 2013, 2013 first team District Tournament, 2014 High Desert League first team, and 2014 first team District Tournament. I was named team MVP both years, as well.
