Carlin Stroud '19 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Carli Stroud. I'm a 6'2" two time varsity returner. I am both a MB and OPP hitter at Hood River Valley High School in Hood River, Oregon (about an hour east of Portland). I started playing volleyball my freshman hear of high school as a MB and I played for Adidas NW Juniors as a MB and OPP hitter last club season. This team is a huge commitment of mine as I have roughly six hours of travel time a week for practices, as practice is held in Clackamas, Oregon. Just as I am committed to volleyball, I am also committed to my academics and strive to keep my GPA above a 3.5 at all times. On top of playing club ball and my academics, I also train with my father three days a week to continue to develop and strengthen my athleticism. I hope this and my commitment to volleyball will continue to push my along my way for my college aspirations.
