Ceanna O'Loughlin '23 Recruiting Profile

Hey! My name is Ceanna O’Loughlin! I am a student-athlete attending Jesuit High School in Portland, Oregon. While maintaining a 3.93 GPA , I participate in the varsity volleyball program as an all around outside hitter and was named 1st team hitter/blocker. I also play beach volleyball under Wendy Stammer at Delker Dunes during summer break. During the colder months I have participated in club volleyball at Athena Volleyball Academy for the past four years and Jesuit Varsity since freshman year. I am a junior this year and will be playing on the 17-1 team again. I was chosen to be on the ACVA Phenom  watchlist and have double qualified for a triple entry to the BVNE national sand tournament. I have played club volleyball since 6th grade and have always felt a push to be a better player and teammate. Since the COVID-19 restrictions have lessened I have continued to train hard. My passion has not wavered. I still feel the drive to be the best that I can be. I adapt to change quickly, take initiative, and have a sense of urgency. I will push myself hard, bring positivity to the court and uplift my teammates and self. I am willing to face any challenges that may come up at any time. I have finally decided my major and want to major in education and minor in psychology. When I graduate I want to teach and coach in high school as well as club. I am thrilled to study hard and not afraid to push myself to the top.
