Making the varsity volleyball team as a freshman was the highlight of my high school sports career. I've played both volleyball and softball at the varsity level but found the passion to better myself as a volleyball player to play at the college level after playing on my first travel club team. I've been playing school volleyball along with club volleyball for 4 years now. I have always been the youngest player on both my club and high school teams. I took being the youngest to my advantage because being able to look up to the older girls and seeing the difference in the level of play is life changing. Every year that I have played I have played a different position which has helped me to grow as a player. Something that I have exceled in over the past years is being able to help other girls with plays and rotations on and off the court which to me is being a leader. One of the most important parts of volleyball is the connection and energy between teammates. That is why I bring a positive and energetic attitude to the court. I have always been a team player who gives their all to the team.
