Hi, my name is Gwen Abnett. I am a junior at Sun Valley High School outside Philadelphia, PA. I will graduate in 2024. Living near a big city, I have gained an interest in crime and the law. It has given me the desire to pursue a degree in criminology or criminal justice in the Virginia, DC, Maryland or Carolina region. My ultimate goal is to become an FBI agent. Being an FBI agent takes teamwork. You must rely on others to have your back. Playing sports has given me the opportunity to be a part of a team. I started playing volleyball in third grade and knew this was the sport for me. I have played in middle school and all three years of high school. This is my 4th year of club volleyball. I also run track and high jump. Playing volleyball in college is important to me for my physical health and to be apart of something. I work hard in every game and practice to always strive to improve. It would give me great pride to play for a collegiate level volleyball team.
