Personal Statement
My name is Kelly Miller and I am a 5'9'', 140lbs setter from Erie, Pennsylvania. I have been playing volleyball since I was in 3rd grade when I started attending camps and clinics. Ever since I began playing, I immediately knew I wanted to play at the collegiate level. My freshman year of high school I made varsity as the starting setter playing all the way around. Going into my junior year and up to my senior year I played all the way around as an outside hitter. I won first team all district 10 my 4 years of high school and the MVP award my sophomore year at the Butler tournament. I would say that I am a good candidate to a team because I am very positive, versatile, and coachable. I show leadership on the court like no other and I am always picking up my teammates. My main goal is to hopefully get an offer to play at the collegiate level and succeed as a student athlete. I have a 3.7 GPA and I always remain focused both on the court and off the court, when in the academic world.
